Terms of Service
This website contains teachings, practices, and philosophy (the “Teachings”) with regard to the practice of meditation. In addition to the Teachings, there are events, immersions, programs, workshops, and courses (collectively “Program(s)”) and related products (collectively “Products”) that are offered by the Mahasara School of Meditation (Mahasara Meditation) as aids in support of one’s meditation practice.
By viewing this website or registering in any Program, you understand and agree that the Teachings are purely educational in nature. Specifically, the Teachings and Programs are not intended to represent that they are used to diagnose, cure, treat, or prevent any medical problem or psychological disorder nor are they intended as a substitute for seeking professional health care advice. You further understand that the instructor and assistants of any Program are not claiming to be nor are licensed physicians, psychiatrists, or psychologists, and that any Program is not offering psychological counseling, treatment, or therapy in any form, but is purely educational in nature. Mahasara Meditation strongly advises that you seek professional advice as appropriate before making any health decision. You understand that the instructor, assistants, and staff are in no way responsible or liable for the results that you may receive from any Program. On the basis of this understanding, you are voluntarily agreeing to participate in the Program and in the educational exercises conducted by the instructor.
Any information, examples, or testimonials presented on this website do not constitute a warranty, guarantee, or prediction regarding the outcome of an individual using the Teachings, Programs or Products for any particular problem or issue. While all materials and links and other resources are posted in good faith, the accuracy, validity, effectiveness, completeness, or usefulness of any information herein, as with any publication, cannot be guaranteed. Mahasara Meditation accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the use or misuse of the information contained on this website. By viewing this website or registering for any Programs, you, your heirs, executors, administrators or assigns agree to fully release and hold forever harmless Mahasara Meditation, its owners, members, officers, employees, agents, consultants, volunteers, and others associated with Mahasara Meditation from any claim or liability of whatsoever kind or nature which you may incur arising at any time out of or relation to your use of this website or Program participation. Understanding this, you are voluntarily agreeing to participate in the Program(s) conducted by the instructor. If any court of law rules that any part of these Terms of Service are invalid, the remainder of these Terms of Service stand as if those parts were struck out.
At all times during any Program, your well-being will remain your sole responsibility; You will not hold Mahasara Meditation and its owners, members, officers, employees, agents, consultants, volunteers, and others associated with Mahasara Meditation responsible for any loss, injury or damages you may suffer by virtue of participating in any Program.
You understand that these Terms of Service constitute a contract for Release and Waiver of Liability and not a mere recital and confirmation of the Terms of Service. You understand that you would not be accepted in a Program without the execution of these Terms of Service. You acknowledge that you have been given the opportunity to ask any questions and that you have received and understood all the information, which was provided.
Refunds: You further understand that if you choose to leave a Program at any time, the Program fees will not be refunded unless you request a refund at least three calendar days prior to the start of any Program. You also accept and understand that a 10% administrative fee will be deducted from the refund.
When registering for a Program, by clicking on the “I accept” checkbox that is part of any registration form, you understand that the checkbox serves as an electronic signature that binds you to these Terms of Service. You confirm that you are of lawful age (18) and legally competent to agree to these Terms of Service. You have agreed to these Terms of Service out of your own free will and intend to be legally bound by them. If you are a minor (less than 18 years of age), clicking on the “I accept” checkbox must be supplanted by the acceptance of your parent or legal guardian.
